UK procurement case from Northern Ireland. Interesting because of the 'due diligence' exercise carried out by the

At
last we have had a new UK procurement case as well as an interesting case on outsourcing. The procurement case concerns the
rights of parties who are not 'economic operators' i.e. suppliers to challenge by way of Judicial Review. For more

The second case involves penalties payable under service level agreements between a supplier
and a public body. It is an interesting case as it concerns facilities

It has been a desperately quiet time for developments in Public Procurement over the past month. However we have just had a decision from the EU Ombudsman which concerns a contested tender procedure. The complainant, a company doing business in the IT field, disagreed with the appraisal of its bid and alleged that the evaluation committee wrongly accepted a bid with variants, whereas variants were not allowed under the call for tenders.Read more on the EU Page.
